Community Partnership Fellowship
The Heinz Endowments (THE) Community Partnership Fellowship program is a full-time, two-year experience that encourages diverse perspectives, creative thinking, and leadership development. The aim of the fellowship is to expose promising professionals to key aspects of philanthropy, including grant development, grantee communications/relations and research and analysis. During the experience, fellows engage with nonprofit organizations, public sector leaders, The Endowments’ grantees, national and local research experts, and philanthropists, learning about the key pillars of philanthropic leadership through active participation and deep practical application.
Reporting to the Vice President of Equity & Community Partnership, the Fellow will receive mentorship, leadership development opportunities and exposure to all aspects of The Endowments’ grantmaking process including grantee convening, grant reviews, board engagement and preparation, strategy development, team engagement, research and reporting. Although the fellowship will focus on THE’s Community Partnership initiatives, exposure to different strategic areas and disciplines will be included.

THE Community Partnership Fellowship program aims to identify professionals with 5+ years of experience who will benefit from learning about and networking within the philanthropic sector. It is designed for nonprofit professionals or recent graduates with a masters-level or Ph.D. in public policy, government, social work, philanthropic studies, public health, early childhood, education, or related field of study.
Compensation: The anticipated base salary range is $75,000 to $85,000, commensurate with experience.
Location: This position is based in Pittsburgh, PA and is expected to work in the office Tuesday through Thursday with optional work from home as work permits on Mondays and Fridays.

Program Associate, Arts & Culture
The Heinz Endowments is seeking a Program Associate to join its Arts & Culture team. This position is well suited for a detail-oriented, analytically minded professional with programmatic experience and a genuine commitment to arts and culture in the community.
The Program Associate will play an active role across a broad range of grantmaking activities, including assessing grant inquiries, synthesizing research, tracking portfolio performance, and preparing materials for board review. The position also encompasses supporting special projects, placemaking initiatives, community partnerships, and contributions to mission-aligned storytelling and communications.
