Sarah Heinz House

Ready, Set Go!

Hot Fun in the Summer Time!

Sarah Heinz House is open year-round. In the summer, we provide plenty of fun, and offer something to fit each individual child's interests and needs.

Our day camp (in 2-week sessions) provides parents with a safe, fun day for their children while they are at work. Swimming, arts & crafts, fun and games all occur on a typical summer day at Sarah Heinz House. Field trips vary, and have included Kennywood, PNC Park, Idewild Park and Wildwood Highlands. Every child receives a free, nutritious lunch and snack to make their day complete.

Kids can also have a blast at "specialty camps" designed around their individual interests. Preschool camps, robo-nature camps combining the study of both robotics and nature, and music and dance camps provide fun and creative outlets for our kids.

For those with a real sense of adventure, our overnight resident camp located near McConnell's Mills provides just the right combination of fun, exercise, excitement and adventure. The beautiful setting, complete with canoeing, creeks, campfires, high ropes course and acres of natural woodlands entices all kids to explore and commune with nature.
