The Pittsburgh Region Artists Program

A standing-room-only crowd of professional artists learn about the application and review process for new grant opportunities through the “Investing in Professional Artists: The Pittsburgh Region Artists Program.” The information session was hosted by The Heinz Endowments and The Pittsburgh Foundation last November at The Andy Warhol Museum on Pittsburgh’s North Side. We are pleased to announce the 2017 Investing in Professional Artists Program, sponsored by The Heinz Endowments and The Pittsburgh Foundation. This grants program is guided by a shared belief that artists are essential to the region’s cultural vitality. The program provides resources to professional artists for creative development; artist residency funds for cultural institutions; Artist Opportunity Grants through the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council; and the Carol R. Brown Creative Achievement Awards.
